Maria G. Stavrakis was born in New York City. She graduated from Fordham University in New York City with a B.A. in English Literature. Ms. Stavrakis received a Juris Doctorate from Jacob D. Fuchsberg, Touro Law Center.
Ms. Stavrakis concentrates her efforts in Family Law and Matrimonial Law. Prior to becoming associated with Bryan L. Salamone & Associates, P.C., Ms. Stavrakis worked as an advocate for victims of domestic abuse and also worked with Family Court Legal Services programs. Ms. Stavrakis continues to be an advocate for victims of violence. She focuses her attention towards, not only representing victims of violence and abuse, but also enforcing Court Orders and representing victims of physical, emotional, mental and financial tyranny.
Ms. Stavrakis has handled numerous complex matters involving mental health and addiction issues affecting custody, visitations and neglect.
