I was never married to my children's father. However, we have shared custody under a court order. Their father lives in another state and is not a U.S. citizen. He wants to travel with our five year-old twins to Africa next year. I am not sure that I feel comfortable with this trip. What do I need to do to make sure they are safe and returned to me at the end of their father's parenting time?
